Growing Community Through Education and Interaction.
We started out as a meetup group and found a calling to create a network where those of us of like mind can come together and share our experiences.
We host rituals, discussions, a monthly meet and greet, and hold classes. We do not follow a specific tradition or path, but we do explore them through discussion and ritual. Check out our calendar below and our current methods of keeping in touch. There is a $5/month membership fee that helps cover the costs for operating the group. You can opt to pay that later, we do not require dues to check it out. If you would like to pay your dues, you can do so on my Patreon and see some great content too. |

Group Guidelines
Merry Meet!
I would like to welcome you to the Witch and Pagan Network. Below is a list of the guidelines we all agree to abide by. I welcome your comments and input. All are welcome, but please abide by the following:
~We are a group of Witches and Pagans who come together for community. Our events are designed to offer a friendly, relaxed, and safe environment for those who are seeking community or to learn. We have many experienced and gracious members offering information and to help with answering questions. Please feel free to ask questions, post comments on the message boards, and share information as you wish.
~Families, including children, are always welcome and encouraged at our events. Some venue's may have restrictions. All ages are welcome, and we encourage minors to share with their parents where they are and who they are with. Be mindful when minors are present, and parents- mind your child. For some events, consent forms may be necessary.
~We come from diverse and rich backgrounds. Please show respect for one another's beliefs. If you are here to start your own religion, or seeking converts, we will respectfully ask you to refrain. If it continues, you will be removed from the group.
~Members will run everything by the organizer before presenting it to the group. Items of community interest are welcome, but should not be your focus in participation. If you are here just to promote your business, you won't last long, but for those seeking support for their community businesses, we have a posting day for members on our Facebook Group. Raevyn Arwen, who created Wild Heart Haven just for the “wild-hearted dreamers, creators, entrepreneurs, and passionate souls, ” is a good place to learn how to run a community supported business. Check it out.
~Be respectful of each other in our sexuality. We are gender-neutral and welcome all. Be mindful, however, we are not a dating service. Whatever members choose between themselves is fine, but please do not apply if that is what you seek. You are welcome to wear your pronouns, we want to know how to address you.
~Guests are always welcome, the more the merrier, be sure to include how many you are bringing when you RSVP for an Event. You are responsible for your guests, so choose accordingly who you will bring and advise them of our guidelines.
~Membership Dues Effective January 1, 2013. I listened and learned from my elders, and found this is the best way to continue our positive growth and “keep the lights on.” Here's how it works:
~Rituals: We are a semi-open circle. Please use this list as a guideline and ask the organizer of the event you wish to attend is open to all members or not.
~Ride-sharing is encouraged at all times. Please help the planet by lightening our carbon footprint on the planet. Members who need a ride to and/or from event's are encouraged to post on the page for that event. Please post early and make your arrangements in private messages so your email/phone/etc. is not posted publicly. We have a core of about 25-30 regular members, but we may not know everyone on the list.
~Participation:
~Illegal actions of any kind are not tolerated at our Events. This includes illegal drug use, underage alcohol use, etc.
~At all times be civil, respectful of others beliefs, culture, etc. and tolerant. This includes proselytizing. It is not welcome here.
~If you are aware of any infractions upon these rules, please tell me or any organizer present immediately. I was raised to be polite, but being silent when someone makes you feel uncomfortable is not polite, it's fear. Let us handle it promptly and efficiently as a group.
~If you have been removed from another group in the community at large, we reserve the right to remove you here too. This is a private organization.
~Finally, I borrow the words of the original organizer of my "home" group that has helped me "come out of the broom closet", The San Gabriel Valley Witch and Pagan Network: "Any person who violates any portion of [these guidelines], purposely disrupts the harmony of the Group, or refuses to adhere to the simple requirements of "civility, tolerance, and respect" will be removed from the Group (and removed from the Event premises, if necessary.)" ~Destiny

~Membership Dues Effective January 1, 2013. I listened and learned from my elders, and found this is the best way to continue our positive growth and “keep the lights on.” Here's how it works:
- $51 per year or $5 per month (paid on Patreon). This is to help defer the cost of hosting events. Yes, someone has to pay to organize a group, as well as ritual supplies, office supplies, etc. You may choose higher tiers based upon your desired participation and support.
- We are not a 501(c)(3) non-profit yet, so they are not yet tax deductible. When we have enough in the treasury, we will elect officers and take that step, but I do not have the out-of-pocket to cover it yet.
- If you really cannot spare five dollars a month, you can be of service to pay for your dues. Please contact me directly and we'll set up something to go about this.
~Rituals: We are a semi-open circle. Please use this list as a guideline and ask the organizer of the event you wish to attend is open to all members or not.
- Meet & Greet is Open to All Members
- Discussion and Ritual & Magical Monday's is Closed, and only Open to qualified members and their guests. You may be qualified by attending the Meet and Greet, receiving approval from one of the organizers or taking an introductory class.
- Rituals hosted by other groups and posted in our group by our admins and mods are open to us and you should contact the person hosting it if you have any questions.
~Ride-sharing is encouraged at all times. Please help the planet by lightening our carbon footprint on the planet. Members who need a ride to and/or from event's are encouraged to post on the page for that event. We have a core of about 25-30 regular members, but we may not know everyone on the list.
~Participation:
- Online Participation is on Zoom. Please do the following to be included in our events.
- RSVP first on Meetup or in the comments on Patreon.
- Use your Profile name you RSVP'd with when you are prompted to add your name. You can change it after introductions and I have welcomed you into the room.
- Have your video on: Yes, I require to see your face so I can make sure it's really you.
- Please practice on Zoom, get used to using the tools, and set up your mic and video before the event starts.
- In Person Participation:
- RSVP on Meetup
- Let us know any details such as guests, for Circle of Light tell us which one you wish to attend.
- Ask questions early, and in the Event post for the meeting, that way everyone benefits.
- For ALL EVENTS REGARDLESS OF HOW YOU PLAN TO ATTEND
- Plan Ahead: If you want to attend a closed event, and we haven't met before, we can do a video chat prior...like at least the day before.
- On the day of the Event I have many things going on prior to the meeting and I don't have time to do a lot of last minute things, so please reach out early and often. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
- RSVPs are required
- No-Show's will be turned into a TOAD (Told Off And Dismissed) and removed from the group on the third occurrence.
